Meet the Grand Haven Team

Kelly loves leading a team and watching people grow as they challenge themselves to be their best. She brings accountability and a steady leadership presence that helps keep both the office and home life running smoothly. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, whether that’s cheering at sports games or enjoying a day out on the lake in their boat.

Laura enjoys connecting with patients and being part of their care experience. Her love for working with the public and helping others shows in every interaction she has. Outside of work, she looks forward to coming home to her husband and their cats and spending time with friends and family.

Laurelle loves the culture, systems, and coworkers at MI Smiles, where people genuinely enjoy working together and tough days are rare. After years of searching for her path, a dental emergency in her early thirties—and eventually restoring her own smile with an implant—sparked her passion for helping others save their teeth and feel whole again. Outside of work, she bartends on the side and loves hosting gatherings, traveling, enjoying great food, and spending time with friends and family.

Stephanie loves listening to patients’ stories and helping create positive, reassuring dental experiences. Inspired by the caring dental professionals she had growing up, she brings genuine compassion to her work and focuses on easing fears that can stand in the way of better overall health. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, caring for her chickens, and expressing her creativity through art and photography.

Jamila is a dental assistant at our Grand Haven office who supports patient care with a calm, team-first approach and a focus on keeping the day running smoothly. She brings steady chairside support and a willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed to help patients feel comfortable and cared for. Brooke loves the close-knit feel of her office and the shared passion everyone has for patient care. While she originally planned to pursue dental hygiene, she discovered a love for assisting and now brings leadership and tech-savvy skills to the team. Outside of work, she spoils her dog Birdie, collects Pokémon cards, and proudly wears nine tattoos that reflect her personality.

Kaitlyn is a dental assistant who values working in a respectful, supportive environment where the team feels like a second family and she can truly be herself. She brings natural leadership and a genuine heart for making a difference, taking pride in being part of meaningful change in her patients’ lives. Outside the office, she pours her creativity into singing, playing acoustic guitar, and writing original songs—and as a devoted Harry Potter fan, she’s even been one audition away from The Voice, twice traveling to Nashville to chase her musical dreams.

Marcia enjoys working in the beautiful Grand Haven office and appreciates the wonderful people she works with every day. She’s known for being genuine with her patients and doing everything she can to take great care of them. Outside the office, she loves being active outdoors—hiking, biking, golfing, practicing yoga—and sprucing up her yard, often starting the day with a joke from her husband.

Tami is a hygienist who loves the people she works with and feels honored to use her skills to help others especially during MI Smiles’ free dental days each year. She was inspired to pursue hygiene after seeing how a simple cleaning could boost a patient’s confidence, and she brings that same patient-first care into every visit. Outside of work, she appreciates a smooth, on-schedule day where she can still find time to support her teammates and she once even had the opportunity to extract a tooth on a dental mission trip in Africa.
