We’ve always been dedicated to helping patients get the quality dental care they need to maintain healthy smiles. We understand that looking for a new dentist can be frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be when you choose us. Our Grand Haven dentists provide family dental care for patients of all ages.
General dentistry focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral health issues. It’s important that you see our general dentists every 6 months so we can monitor the health of your teeth, gums, and jaw.
Our dentists understand that lifestyle choices and family history affect oral health. For example, our dentists do frequent oral cancer screenings for someone who smokes. Likewise, we closely monitor jawbone tissue after tooth loss. Our dentists understand that oral health and overall health are connected.

He was born and raised in Traverse City, MI. As a child, Dr. Schell remembers being fascinated with the health field, which eventually led him to pursue a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. During this time his fascination and passion for serving others only intensified. Dr. Schell continued his education in dentistry by attending the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014. He found that dentistry has a perfect balance between serving others and guiding patients to not only stable oral health, but also systemic health.
During dental school, Dr. Schell and a handful of students, organized, led, and worked clinics that serve veterans who do not have access to dental care. The program is called Victors for Veterans and is now becoming incorporated into the U of M Outreach Program. The work Dr. Schell and his colleagues did was completely free. He had the pleasure of serving in around 16 clinics during his time at U of M.
Dr. Schell & his wife Megan got married in June of 2018 and have a dog named Charlie. Along with spending time with family, Dr. Schell and his wife Megan enjoy traveling the world and find joy in immersing themselves in different cultures/perspectives. When they are not traveling, the two enjoy outdoor activities including hiking and boating.
Dr. Rogers joins us from his recent position as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps. He knew early on that he wanted to help people pursue healthy and happy lives and that dentistry would allow him to blend caring for patients and connecting with people.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on to the University of Detroit Mercy for dental school. He is excited to be moving to West Michigan with his wife Christine and his dog Steve. In his free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, time with family and friends, and watching his favorite sports team: the Detroit Red Wings.
