Dr. Madala grew up in Naperville, IL. She received her undergraduate degree from Benedictine University and completed her doctorate at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

What led you to seek a career in dentistry?

“I had the pleasure of shadowing a local dentist back in high school and instantly fell in love with it! Ever since then I knew what I wanted to do with my life.”

Please list some achievements you have made during your career in dentistry:

“I consider myself lucky to have had opportunities to work with all patient populations including children, special needs, nursing home patients, and women in shelters through my General Practice Residency at the hospital.”

“I am the very proud mother of two beautiful children!”

What volunteer work have you been a part of in the past?

“I love volunteering my expertise, especially providing dental services to people who can’t financially afford the care that they deserve.”

What is your favorite part about working with our patients?

“Educating patients about oral health care. I enjoy when patients are a part of the treatment planning process and they understand the equal role they play in determining the direction of their treatment.”
